Nga Tae

We are learning to teach people what the maori words for different colours are. We had to create a google slide and do something that will teach someone what the colours are in maori.

I found it easy to think of the idea of putting coloured squares on the slide and writing in them.

I found it hard to remember the maori names of some colours.

Next time I will make my squares more tidier.

  1. Ka rawe Addison,
This will be very helpful to help learn the colours. The squares make this very clear.

  2. Kia ora Addison,
Well done on creating such an awesome blogpost about the Maori names for colours!
I really like the way you have presented each Maori name to appear on its coloured background, and think that the addition of the english names was a fantastic idea.
You mentioned in your blogpost how you found it hard to remember the Maori names for some of the colours. What are some ways you found helped you to memorise these?
Learning through song is a great way to remember things.
    Here is a video
of somebody singing the Maori colours through song. It may be helpful to you if you're still struggling to remember the names of each colour.
Overall, you have done a fantastic job on your blogpost. Keep up the great work!
    Nga mihi,

I have watched the video and I remember the colours very good now.
Thank you for the kind and caring feedback. Soon I am going to post shapes in maori. Hope you enjoy that post in the future.
    Thank you both!
