Horourta Animation

We are learning about the story of Horourta. We were told to do an animation about our favourite part/page. Mine was when paoa was looking at the birds in the tree's. My animation is paoa sitting under a tree watching the birds then goes back into the waka and carries on his journey across the shore line.

I found it easy to think of what part/page of the book I was going to do because I already thought of it when we read the book before the activity.

I found it challenging to create the first slide because my river was wonky and I was seeing if I could add any more detail to make it look cool.

Next time I will try make it a bit longer. I ran out of time and that's why I didn't put much detail because in my spare time at home i've made animations hundreds of slides long.

Sunflower

 We are  learning to write an  environmental poem. An environmental poem should include

 personal features e.g: The tree dances in the wind.

A tree can't dance but in an environmental poem it makes the reader paint a picture in their mind.


I found it easy to make the background light yellow and the word art so the other words stand out.


I found it challenging to think of  personal features that make sense.


Next time I will add more rich words into my writing to make the person reading think "WOW!"
